Composition:

Cefoperazone 1gm + Sulbactam 1gm
(Total: 2 grams)

Pharmacology:

• Cefoperazone: A third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic effective against a broad range of bacteria.

• Sulbactam: A beta-lactamase inhibitor that enhances the effectiveness of cefoperazone by preventing bacterial resistance.

Indications (Uses):

BEZON Injection is used to treat the following infections:

• Respiratory tract infections (e.g., pneumonia)

• Urinary tract infections (UTIs)

• Skin and soft tissue infections

• Intra-abdominal infections

• Septicemia (blood infections)

• Post-surgical infections

Dosage:

• Adults:
  2g every 12 hours via IV or IM injection
  (Dosage may vary depending on the severity of the infection and patient condition.)

• Renal or hepatic impairment: Dose adjustment may be required.

Administration Route:

• Administered via Intravenous (IV) or Intramuscular (IM) injection.

• The powder should be reconstituted with sterile water before use.

Contraindications:

• Known allergy to cefoperazone, sulbactam, or other cephalosporins.

• Hypersensitivity reactions.

Side Effects:

• Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea
